Executive Digital Director, West Coast

Katie Atkinson is Billboard's executive digital director, West Coast and has worked for Billboard.com as an editor in the Los Angeles office since 2014. She also co-hosts Billboard's Pop Shop Podcast and has interviewed everyone from Dua Lipa to John Mayer for the show. She previously worked as a digital editor at Entertainment Weekly (and Editor's Hour co-host on SiriusXM's EW Live), deputy managing editor at MTV News and intern-turned-copy editor at The Detroit News. She has a degree in journalism from Michigan State University and has attended every MSU NCAA Final Four basketball game since 2001 (tragically just missing its last championship in 2000).
