廖璟，博士、副教授、碩士生導師， 物聯網工程系主任。湖南省物聯網學會理事， 現任CCF YOCSEF長沙 AC委員兼學術秘書。

2007年，畢業于中南大學控制理論與控制工程專業，獲工學碩士學位；2012年，英國奧斯特大學，獲計算機科學與數學博士學位。2013年至2016年在英國斯特克萊德大學工程學院通訊實驗室分别任職副研究員和研究員。擔任 IEEE system，man and cyber（c）、Information Science等 SCI 期刊審稿人。

主要研究領域為嵌入式系統、智能家居、工業物聯網、圖像處理、信息挖掘和大數據處理。
