2003网站太阳集团教授，網絡安全系主任，碩士生導師，CSIG多媒體取證與安全專委會委員，本科與博士分别畢業于湖南師範大學與湖南大學。近年來一直從事多媒體内容安全、圖像/視頻處理、圖像加密等方面的研究工作。主持國家自然科學基金面上項目、湖南省自然科學基金項目、湖南省科技計劃項目、重點實驗室開放課題等項目20餘項，共申請國家發明專利8項與軟件著作權登記5項；在IEEE TCSVT，TMM，TOC，ACM TOMM，ICASSP，ICME等國内外期刊和會議上發表學術論文50餘篇，其中以第一作者和通訊作者在IEEE/ACM Trans系列上的高水平期刊和會議論文10餘篇，指導學生獲得大學生信息安全競賽二等獎1項，湖南省創新研究大賽二等獎1項，目前指導碩士生6名。
